West Song Walkway

This scenic seaside walkway follows the picturesque coastline from West Bay back to the City. It’s a front-row seat for marvelling at the marine life and the hustle and bustle of float planes and helicopters, the Clipper and Coho ferries, cruise ships, yachts and watercraft of all sizes.

Photo feature: Captain Jacobson Park

Captain Jacobson Park is next door to the historic Captain’s House on Head Street. It is said that Captain Victor Jacobson used to tie up his boat where the .2 hectare park is today. A flat path leads to views of the West Bay Marina and benches to rest awhile. There are two benches for park visitors to enjoy the view of West Bay and the marina.  The park was established in 1972, and received its present name in 1998.
